ispace, inc. and EdgeCortix will be embarking on a dangerous space and artificial intelligence trip. In a press release on February 25, 2025, the two companies say they are going to build in more AI and thus improve space missions by 100 times.

EdgeCortix is widespread due to its bots that are infinitely smarter than every living human combined. ispace and EdgeCortix will join forces and come up with a roadmap on how they are to implement the processors.

The partnership unites EdgeCortix, which a leader in AI-specific processors, and ispace, which a company that has set up a plan to integrate SAKURA-II processors into systems between the Earth and the Moon. This collaboration is a big step towards the space-edge PCs, which can change the way data is handled during the missions to the Moon.

The team will continue working alongside other valued partners on the Space Edge Platform and build a lunar lander – EM-1V “RESILIENCE”. Ispace operates the SMBC x HAKUTO-R Venture Moon Mission 2 powered by HAKUTO-R, which is fairly efficient so far. The drop of the mission’s RESILIENCE on February 15, 2025, was a significant advancement in achieving the goal of ispace Lunar Exploration.

EdgeCortix’s AI technology has been integrated into ispace’s lunar missions.
